Framed Seashell Trio Card

To create this card you need:
Memento ink pads: Desert Sand, Tuxedo Black, Rich Cocoa
Prismacolor pencils 24 set or larger
Black cardstock
Cardstock created in the Subtle Stamped Background blog post

The first step is to stamp the rectangle sand frames on the matte coated paper. You'll cut these out later so placement doesn't matter. Ink the stamp in desert sand, add some rich cocoa around the edges.

Someof the brown ink will likely go on a little strong and you really want the colors to blend a blender pen of any brand can be used to blend where the ink colors meet.

Now when you stamp the image the ink should blend from dark to light.  Ink the stamp two more times in the same way and stamp the image two more times.

Next stamp the seashell images into the center of the frame in Tuxedo Black ink.

I do not have step-by-step photos for the coloring with pencils but all the colors I used came from the 24 set and I've provided close up photos so can try to mimick the colors if you like.  Stick to browns, oranges and light touches of red and pink/flesh colors for the insides of shells and you really can't go wrong.  Look up coloring ideas from photos on the internet if you want to color accurately.  I was happy with a natural look that wasn't necessary precise.
