"Wonderland Tea Party" Steampunk Top Hat by Leigh S-B!

 Description:  Another day in Wonderland at another Tea Party all depicted on a mini Steampunk Top Hat.  All the Steampunk animals are from Blockheads' Fringe Folktails stamp set.  Stamped onto Neenah Solar White cardstock with Tuxedo Black Memento ink and coloured with Copic Sketch markers.   The gears and cogs are Tim Holtz Alterations Bigz and Movers and Shapers dies die cut out of Grungeboard and coloured with all 3 of the metallic Distress Stains.

"Bird Wings" Window Hanging

This week I've been playing with Grungeboard Alphabets, Distress Stains and Crackle Paint, StazOn ink, Blockheads stamps and acetate!

My "Bird Wings" window hanging is sort of along the lines of sun catcher except it is more of an art piece that allows you to still view the nature out the window through the acetate frame!

Industrial Grunge Photo Frame with Grungeboard Scraps

 Description:  I've created an Industrial Grunge style photo frame with a faux scrap metal look using scraps of Grungeboard and metallic Distress Stains.  

The photo above shows the finished frame after I antiqued it with black antiquing gel and more metallic Distress Stains brushed on to add more of the metallic shine.  The photo below shows the frame with all the pieces treated with the metallic Distress Stains before I antiqued it.  Both work equally well, which look do you prefer?

Description: As a ceramic artist I love to paint in the Delft Blue style Holland is famous for.  I thoroughly enjoy translating the style over to my paper art as well and today I'm sharing an Easter/Spring card with a matching envelope created with Memento Ink and Copic markers.  It's a square card measuring 5 x 5 inches.

"Kensi Pram" Gift Bag by Leigh S-B

Created by: Leigh Snaith-Brunton aka The Sharpie Domino Queen and Design Team Member Today I'm sharing a super cute 3D die cut out and assembled pram gift bag I've made for a friend.  It is decorated with Blockheads rubber stamps using VersaMagic and Distress Inks.  I've still got more to add like dimensional pearl accents and a gift tag but I wanted to show you what I've done so far complete with a baggie of pink jelly beans for the new Mom. "Painted Butterflies" Oversized Postage Stamp Card

Description: Butterflies are being featured this month and I had a ball playing with my new 8 x 10 Gelli Arts Printing Plate and created a beautiful Butterfly print by using up some old acrylic paints destined for the trash and Blockheads Paper Arts large Butterfly stamp!  Here's the card I made with my print, various Distress Inks, Distress Markers and other Blockheads stamps.
